Burbank (BUR)

Some of the more interesting terminal shapes I’ve seen are older airports that have had expansion limited by urban growth around them, forcing them to try to fit a lot into a small space. Burbank certainly fits that description, shoving a reasonably busy airport into a tiny corner of an airfield.

Aerial imagery of BUR, showing the terminal boxed in between two cross runways and two cross roads.
