Given Hawaii’s excellent year-round weather, it’s no surprise that large portions of the airport are outdoors. It’s certainly nice to have some fresh air in the airside part of the terminal!
I’ve only been to Oahu twice, once in 2012 and again in 2013. However, the latter also included an overnight visit to the big island in the middle of the trip, giving me an extra two visits to HNL.
