Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
First visited 7 December 1987
In November 2019, New Orleans (MSY) opened a new terminal on the other side of the airfield. They simultaneously closed the original terminal.

The old terminal of MSY, as seen from the rental car center. The new terminal is visible in the background to the left.
The new terminal is nice, with high ceilings, lots of windows (hopefully resistant to hurricane damage), and a very open three-story main terminal.

The concourses are wide, but the B and C concourses use that width to put a strip of shops and restaurants down the middle, so the walkway still does get a little crowded when you have to walk by a gate where people are clustering to board.
