Dallas Love Field is primarily Southwest Airlines’s territory, and since Southwest no longer serves my home airport, I haven’t had many opportunities to travel through it. (For contrast, nearby DFW is one of my most-visited.)

DAL was not a bad airport for a layover; with 20 gates in a single concourse, it was quick and easy to get anywhere, while still being big enough to have a lot of food options.
