Work travel is picking back up again, and with it comes some new destinations and some new airports. In this case, I was visiting Valdosta, Georgia for the first time. While Valdosta does have its own small passenger airport (VLD), I decided to get better flights into the larger JAX and drive a couple hours instead.
Oddly, JAX is not the first “Jacksonville Airport” I’ve visited; I’ve already flown into the much smaller Jacksonville, North Carolina (OAJ) a few times over the past five years.
